Club Fees are now WELL OVERDUE for term 2. If you are paying at the club please ensure that it is receipted by a member of the committee. If you are paying by direct bank transfer please email notification that you have done so. In both cases, if you are paying for a child, ensure that the child's name is referenced.
Remember: term fees are due at the beginning of each term.

We have been made aware that there are a number of you who have not yet paid FencingSA registration. This is a compulsory payment, and ensures that you or your child is insured against injury, both in the club and at competitions.
Anyone not registered/licensed with FencingSA will be allowed to join the footwork portion of training but will NOT be allowed to engage in swordplay.
Note: the AHFC does not handle this fee. Register directly via the Fencing SA Member Portal.

Schools Teams League is nearing once again, and additional training sessions have begun for team members. Well done to those of you who have formed teams - all the best for the coming competitions. A special thank you to the parents who have organised a canteen for these competition nights, and an extra-special thanks to Mel & B.-d. Farms Paris Creek for their delicious donations.

The AFC #2 (Australian Fencing Circuit #2), otherwise known as the Robyn Chaplin tournament will be running during the coming long weekend. The best fencers of Australia & New Zealand will be in town for the event. Entry is free for spectators, come and see where the action is! Details here:

The AHFC Sign-in sheet must be filled out upon arrival at the venue. Part of the function of this protocol is to create a safer environment for our athletes, thus; Parents/guardians must sign in for junior attendees each night of attendance.
If you are up to date with your club fees your name will be printed on the list, if you have yet to pay (or your payment is still being processed) you will need to write your name in the space provided.
NOTE: All parents/guardians must drop off and pick up minors inside the building.

The AHFC provides all the equipment necessary for beginners to participate safely in this sport. Unfortunately there have been increasing instances of equipment being left lying where it is dropped or otherwise not returned properly to where it belongs.
It is now the responsibility of parents to ensure their children replace equipment neatly & properly (jackets & lamés on hangers, swords in rack, etc.)
