1. New Committee
The AHFC would like to welcome Melanie Malig-Spranz as our new Club President. All other roles remain the same:
President - Mel Malig-Spranz
Secretary - Rebecca Cowling
Master of Records - Peter Mayer
Treasurer & Event Supremo - Sarah Lucy
VP, Armourer, Media-Liaison & Webmaster - Dov Spinks

2. Paintball Fund Raiser
On the 18th of April the AHFC is holding a paintball skirmish fund raiser event. So haul your martial skills into the 20th century and invite your friends to this awesome event!
$40 gets you a full day of paintey pew-pew! normally worth $65! - protective gear & 100 pellets included.

3. Upcoming Competitions
Coming up in a few days:
Intermediate Foil & Epée (Saturday)
Open Foil, Epée, Sabre (Sunday)
Veteran Foil & Epée (Sunday)
(Check Calendar for start times - roll call 15mins prior)
Register your attendance with competitions@fencingsa.org.au now.
*Note - Please ensure that you have paid your Fencing SA registration/licensing fee - must be done at least one week in advance.

4. Notification System
Recently you were probably bombarded with messages regarding upcoming competitions from our automated calendar system.
We apologise for any defenestration this may have caused.
In an endeavour to streamline the process of notification we are moving to an automated service - in future, multiple daily notices will be compressed to one single email.

5. Club Fees
There are still a large number of club membership fees outstanding. Participants who have not paid by the final training session (2015.04.09) will be charged for the full term at the casual attendance rate of $15p/n.

6. Schools League
Next term the FSA Schools Teams League starts again. 
Team registrations close at the end of week 4 in term 2, and matches start in week 6.
Team divisions will still be the same: Junior (year 8 and below); Senior (year 9 and up) and; Girls (ladies only, any year level).

7. Club Closures
The club will be closed on Thursday the 26th. It's on the Calendar. 
Chill out, relax; have yourself a cocktail night or something.
Training resumes the following Thursday (2015.04.02) for the remaining 2 weeks of the term.
